Donald Glover from the community a dope rapper? Childish Gambino!

Do you watch the Community on NBC? Yeah its pretty funny and has a lot of good characters, perhaps one of the funniest is Troy (played by Donald Glover). Glover is a young actor but who knew that isn't all he could do? I didn't! The boy is a sick lyricist and isn't as crazy he used to be. He has some big names on the mixtape too like Bun B and even Tina Fey!

Check out his new mixtape and get a free download http://www.datpiff.com/Childish-Gambino-Royalty-mixtape.369224.html

Retiring Socks - The Sockless Shoe(s)!! Sock: Optional.

The Summer of '11, it seems that a lot trends are catching on and becoming extremely popular. Guys not wearing socks with certain shoes is one of them! The are several pieces of footwear that men are choosing to 'retire' their socks for. One the shoes are boat shoes (deckers) or whatever you may choose to call them. Wearing these boat shoes without socks is rugged yet casual move and says a lot about a men and the confidence he has. The no-sock look for me personally works a lot better with shorts or three-quarter length trousers or pants. However, plenty people pull it off with full length pants, such as chinos or slacks.. like my boy @alaneses (Alan), who actually gave me the idea for this post! He pulled the retired sock look with chinos and some vans. Vans are another shoe that the no sock look goes well with. You could also go a little bit classier and go sockless with some LOAFERS. But your options don't just stop there, you can try this look with whatever shoes you have! Just remember the more sporty the shoe the harder it may be to pull off! Let me know what shoes you go sockless with or you are thinking about trying. And if you are one of those people who just have to wear socks, you could go for the 'no show' socks can be found many places that are good for socks/underwear & it basically gives the same effect (try & find some that match your skin color)!
There are no links to sites to purchase this time, and that's just because there is really nothing to purchase, you can go sockless with boats shoes, vans or anything you already have (just make sure it looks good!).
Peace, Love & Blessings!

Tiger / Leopard Print Clothes/Shoes?? What Do You Think?

Recently I have been noticing a lot of Tiger & Leopard printing on clothing.. For men! This is something that subtly worked it's way into men's fashion, when did it become a trend. I don't know if it is a trend that will last as many people will find it a bit 'out there' & opt not to wear it. I think I may be one of those people, but never say never.. it may take off and blow up in the second part of 2011 !!

Because fashion trends "move faster than a leopard sprint.. & have more spots than a leopard print" - Drake (paraphrased)

The writing of this blog post was really triggered after seeing leopard print dunks on a fashion site AFTER seeing Jaden Smith wearing those crazy leopard print pants at the BET awards, I thought to myself.. Is this a thing?. However this post is not about Jaden's pants, it's more about this trend of animal prints in men's fashion. It can look pretty cool if you can pull it off, what do you think? Is it just a passing phase or is it here to stay?

I do not think this trend has fully caught on yet, as I had a hard time finding any reputable apparel & shoe stores who offer a range of animal print clothing or footwear. If you have better luck finding some, let me know! In fact the one site I found was a Japanese one, at the pair of dunks were sold out, selling at 14,000 Yen (about $177 U.S)

Feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Peace, Love & Blessings.

Owl On A Plank?? Has Planking Been Surpassed?

SOMETHING DIFFERENT: Planking has been the internet pic sensation for a while now, and to be honest it is still going strong! But there is new thing (new to me atleast) call OWLING. This craze is when you're perched down like an owl would in strange places. The stranger the better (similar to PLANKING). Could it be that Owlers are going to take away the spot light from the Plankers? Will you be owling or keep planking? OR just be doing neither? Comments below!

Here is an article from the British tabloid 'The Sun' about the ol' owl/plank debate!
